Discussion Group

1. The course homepage is http://crystal.uta.edu/~cli/cse3302. The announcements, syllabus, schedule (including lecture notes), and resources will be posted there.

2. The WebCT page is http://www.uta.edu/webct. Use your NetID and password to login. We use WebCT for (1) posting assignment instructions; (2) for students to submit assignments electronically; (3) discussion group;  (4) posting students scores and grades.

3. The item "Start Here!" links to WebCT tutorials. Please consult them for help if necessary.

4. The deadline and grace period of assignments will be automatically managed by WebCT. You take the full responsibility to submit assignments before the deadline (or grace period). We don't accept late submissions, unless the school verifies that WebCT was malfunctioning or unavailable, or there was a case of illness or other substantial impediment beyond your control, as confirmed by the school.

5. In the WebCT discussion group, various topics have been created for your discussion. Most of the names of the topics are self-describing.

* The Announcements on the course homepage will also be replicated in the discussion group.

* If your post doesn't fit into any topic, use "Miscellaneous".

* The "Junk" is for testing purpose only. The instructor and TA will not check posts under this topic.

6. Please login to WebCT. Check if you can see my post in "Announcements", and try to post a message in "Junk". Let me know if there is any problem.
